Turkey Mushroom Patties with Gravy
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Divided
- 8 ounces, weight Crimini Mushrooms, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Crushed Garlic
- 1-13 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cups Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 dashes Salt And Pepper
- 2 dashes Onion Powder And Garlic Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 can (14 1/2 Oz. Size, About 2 Cups) Chicken Broth
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 2 dashes Rosemary
- 2 dashes Salt And Pepper
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add chopped mushrooms and crushed garlic.
- Cook until soft and translucent.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl.
- combine ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped mushrooms (reserve 1/4 cup for topping), and seasonings.
- Form into about 6 patties (depending on the size you want).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the same skillet you cooked the mushrooms, and add half of the patties.
- Cook until brown on both sides and cooked through, about 7 minutes on each side.
- Remove and repeat with the remaining oil and patties.
- When all patties are cooked, place them in warm oven.
- In the same skillet, prepare the gravy.
- Melt butter over low heat.
- Sprinkle flour in and whisk for 3-4 minutes to form a thick paste.
- Increase heat to medium and whisk in broth and milk.
- Add seasonings and adjust to taste.
- To serve, top turkey patties with gravy and remaining 1/4 cup of chopped, cooked mushrooms.
