Applesauce Raisin Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease a 10-inch loaf pan.
  3. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat brown sugar, butter, baking soda, cinnamon and salt until light and fluffy.
  4. Reduce speed to low.
  5. Add flour, applesauce and eggs; beat until blended.
  6. With a spoon, stir in raisins and chopped nuts.
  7. Spoon batter into pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
  8. Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan; cool completely.
  9. When cake is cool, prepare glaze.
