Achot (Garlicky Farmer's Cheese With Walnuts) Recipe
- 1 c. Cheese, farmer
- 3 Tbsp. Walnuts, minced fine
- 1/4 c. Yogurt, low-fat
- 1 Tbsp. Dill, minced fine
- 1 Tbsp. Parsley, minced fine
- 1 x Garlic clove, chopped
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- Lettuce, boston
- 1/4 c. Walnuts, minced coarsely
- Pita, toasted triangles
- Process the farmer's cheese, finely minced walnuts, and yogurt in a food processor till smooth.
- Transfer the cheese to a bowl and mix with herbs, garlic, and salt.
- Shape into a ball, cover, and chill for 4 hrs.
- Line a small serving platter with several lettuce leaves and carefully transfer the cheese ball to the platter.
- Press the coarsely minced walnuts into the ball so they more or possibly less cover it.
- Serve with the toasted pita triangles.
