Chicken Cerise (Cherry) Recipe

  1. Season chicken with paprika and salt.
  2. Saute/fry chicken in butter till brown.
  3. Remove chicken.
  4. Blend flour, sugar, spices and dash of salt in butter remaining in skillet.
  5. Drain cherries and pour the liquid into the skillet.
  6. Return chicken to skillet.
  7. Add in pineapple, rum and bouillon cube.
  8. Cover and simmer for 30 min.
  9. Add in cherries and simmer for 10 min.
  10. To serve, arrange chicken on a bed of rice.
  11. Spoon some sauce over chicken and serve the remaining sauce separately.
  12. Serves 6.
