Apple Bread ABM
- 23 cup brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups Granny Smith apples or 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1 cup apple's sugar juice (see step one)
- 4 12 cups flour
- 12 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg white
- 1 egg white
- Place apples pieces into a mixing bowl and stir in cinnamon and brown sugar; let rest together overnight - this will create your apple/sugar juice.
- Separate the apples from the sugary juice and place them in the bread machine, along with your dry ingredients, and butter.
- Measure out one cup of the sugar juice, and separate your egg white.
- Add liquids and start the machine, manual or dough cycle.
- You want the dough to create a ball.
- When dough cycle has finished (my machine takes 2 hours and 11 minutes for the Manual cycle), divide dough into halves.
- Place each half into a well greased and floured 9 inch loaf pan (I lined my non-stick loaf pan with parchment paper, rather than grease & flour).
- Bake at 350F for 50 minutes.
