Tavern Beer Cheese
- 3 cup (12 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese (aged is best)
- 1 1/2 cup (6 ounces) shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce (I use less)
- 3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup beer
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 crackers or toast slices
- In a large bowl, combine cheeses, chili powder, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and tabasco sauce.
- Mix well.
- Put mixture in a food processor or blender and add beer to make a thick spread.
- Stir in parsley.
- Place in a serving bowl.
- Serve at room temperature with crackers or toast slices.
