Poultry Puffs
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion or chives
- 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury quick crescent rolls
- 3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons
- 1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons margarine until soft.
- Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, chives and pimiento, mixing well.
- Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.
- Spoon 1/2 cup poultry mixture onto center of each rectangle.
- Pull four corners of dough to top; twist slightly and seal edges.
- Brush top with remaining margarine.
- Dip in crouton crumbs.
- Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
