Bean Soup Recipe

  1. Sort and wash 2 c. bean mix; place in Dutch oven, cover with water and soak overnight.
  2. Drain beans, add in 2 qts water and next four ingredients.
  3. Cover and bring to boil, simmer about 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till beans are tender.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients.
  5. Simmer 30 min, stirring occasionally.
  6. Yield 8 c..
