Chocolate Cake

  1. Sift together All Purpose Flour, Cocoa Powder, pinch of Salt, Baking Powder & Baking Soda in a large bowl.
  2. Take Eggs & Butter / Vegetable Oil in a large bowl and whisk well till it's smooth.
  3. Add Caster Sugar & whisk well.
  4. Now melt the 250 gms Chocolate in microwave & add to the egg mixture.
  5. Whisk well.
  6. Now add the dry ingredients (step 1) to this egg mixture, portion by portion & continue whisking.
  7. Make sure there are no lumps.
  8. Add a little room temperature milk, if the mixture is too thick.
  9. Now put this mixture in a round baking dish & bake in a preheated oven at 180 for about 20-30 mins.
  10. Keep doing the toothpick test to confirm.
  11. Now for the icing, take Fresh Cream in a bowl & add Caster Sugar.
  12. Whip well.
  13. Add Melted Chocolate to it & whip to desired consistency.
  14. Take out the cake once fully cooked.
  15. Let it cool down for a few mins & then take out of the baking dish.
  16. Evenly apply the icing all over.
  17. Garnish with chopped Almonds.
  18. Keep in refrigerator for 20 mins to set.
  19. Serve as u like.
