Strawberry yogurt vinaigrette
- 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 5 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin.this is approximate. see why in the mixing process below
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp organic strawberry preserves
- dash black pepper
- 3 tbsp vanilla yogurt
- In a small-medium bowl add the vinegar.
- Using a whisk, whisking quickly, add olive oil in slowly.
- If the suggested amount isn't enough add more to suit your taste.
- You should taste the oil/vinegar mixture as you go.
- You want a little bit of a bite.
- It's shouldn't be too strong.
- You still have to add more stuff.
- Add the honey while mixing.
- Taste.
- It shouldn't be very sweet.
- Add the strawberry preserves and yogurt and pepper.
- This is where you'll tailor it to what you want.
- A little sweeter add more honey or preserves.
- If you want it creamier add more yoghurt.
- The yoghurt will also dull the 'bite' from the vinegar.
