Lazy Sunday Mimosa
- 1/2 cup pink sanding sugar (see note to preceding recipe)
- 6 to 8 fresh strawberries, stemmed and halved
- One 750ml bottle brut champagne or Prosecco
- Splash blood-orange juice, plus more as needed
- 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier, plus more as needed
- Dip the rims of two or four champagne flutes in water.
- Dip in the sanding sugar.
- Drop several strawberry halves into each glass.
- Fill each glass about two-thirds with champagne, leaving room for a splash each of blood-orange juice and Grand Marnier.
- Serve immediately, and repeat as necessary.
