Egg Nog Pound Cake Recipe
- 3 c. plain flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 c. eggnog
- 6 Large eggs
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut flavoring
- 1 teaspoon lemon or possibly rum flavoring
- Cream butter and Crisco.
- Gradually add in sugar.
- Add in Large eggs 1 at a time.
- Gradually add in flour.
- Alternate with eggnog (begin with flour and end with flour).
- Fold in coconut, then flavorings.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
