Apple Cider Sauce
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Add the apple cider, water, sugar, and cinnamon to a pot and bring to the boil, reduce heat to medium-high heat and cook until thickened and reduced to 1 1/2 cups, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Off heat, whisk in butter and lemon juice.
- This can be made in up to 3 days in advance.
