Apple Cider Sauce

  1. Add the apple cider, water, sugar, and cinnamon to a pot and bring to the boil, reduce heat to medium-high heat and cook until thickened and reduced to 1 1/2 cups, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Off heat, whisk in butter and lemon juice.
  3. This can be made in up to 3 days in advance.
