Top Shelf Julep

  1. In a highball glass, muddle the mint leaves with the Simple Syrup, then add the bourbon and eau-de-vie.
  2. Add crushed ice and stir, then add more crushed ice to fill the glass.
  3. Top with the rum and arrange the mint sprigs in the center of the drink.
