Smokehouse Crushed Almonds
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp. sweet smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. ground chipotle powder cup raw almonds
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine oil, brown sugar, paprika, and chipotle powder in medium bowl.
- Add almonds, and toss to coat with spice mixture.
- Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes, or until lightly toasted and fragrant.
- Season with salt, if desired.
- Cool.
- Pulse mixture in food processor several times, or until coarsely chopped.
