TRISCUIT Ornament
- Royal Icing
- 5 woven wheat crackers
- 1 ring-shaped hard candy
- Red colored sugar
- ribbon
- Pipe icing along long edges of 3 of the crackers; press edges together to form triangular box.
- Let dry.
- Cut 2 of the crackers into triangles to cover ends of triangular box using serrated knife.
- Carefully pierce a hole, about 1/8 inch in diameter in center of each triangle with straight pin.
- Fold the 18-inch piece of green curling ribbon in half.
- Thread folded end through hole of 1 of the triangles, pulling about 5 inches of ribbon through cracker.
- Continue threading folded end through triangular box, then through hole in second triangle, pulling through 3-inch loop to make hanger.
- Attach triangle with the loop end to triangular box with icing.
- Pull ribbon through second triangle until triangle is against the triangle box; attach with icing.
- (If ornament doesn't hang straight, pack box with tissue to balance.)
- Thread candy on ribbon on bottom of box; tie knot on end to keep candy in place.
- Use scissors to curl ribbon.
- Pipe icing along all edges of ornament; dip in colored sugar.
- Let dry.
