No Fuss Chicken
- 23 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Rubbed Sage
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 cups Butter Or Margarine
- 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- In a bowl, combine the flour, sage, basil and seasoned salt.
- Coat each breast in the flour mixture and reserve remaining flour.
- In a large skillet, melt butter; brown the chicken on all sides.
- Transfer to a slow cooker.
- Add 1/4 cup reserved flour mixture to the skillet and stir into butter until smooth.
- When the mixture begins to bubble, stir in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 1 minute.
- Pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on high for 2-2 1/2 hours or on low for 4 hours.
- Serve over rice.
