B.B.Q. Quail

  1. In a bowl, crush the garlic and the thyme with the back of a spoon.
  2. Season the quail with a little salt and pepper, then rub with the garlic and thyme.
  3. Allow marinating for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat oven at 375 degrees F.
  5. Brush both sides of the quail with the B.B.Q.
  6. sauce.
  7. Put quails on a rack in a baking dish.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove quail from the oven and turn on the broiler.
  10. Brush quails with more sauce.
  11. Place quails under broiler to char, about 6 minutes.
  12. Turn to char both sides.
