Sweet Corn Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Cream butter and sugar together.
  3. Add eggs and corn meal
  4. In a separate bowl, stir dry ingredients together (sift if you prefer, but I'm lazy, so I skip that step).
  5. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the corn meal mixture and combine.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of milk and combine.
  7. Repeat above steps until all flour and milk has been added.
  8. Pour into greased 7 X 11 inch pan and bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out dry.
  9. Can also be baked in a corn bread pan or muffin tins.
  10. It will yield 20 - 24 muffins.
