Autumn Bento Side Dish - Mushrooms Growing on Stumps

  1. Trim the ends of the mushrooms.
  2. Microwave them a bit in a heat-resistant bowl.
  3. Drain and season with Krazy Salt.
  4. Cut the chikuwa in half.
  5. Then cut each section into half again using a diagonal cut.
  6. Stand the chikuwa flat edge down.
  7. Use chopsticks to fill the hole with mushrooms one at a time.
  8. Considering the size and height of the mushrooms, add four stems to each chikuwa.
  9. Done!
