Easy Panda Bread made with Pancake Mix!
- 150 grams Pancake mix
- 15 grams Butter
- 65 grams Plain yoghurt
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder
- 120 grams Anko (store-bought)
- 1 Decoration pencil (Black/white)
- Using plastic wrap, roll the anko paste into 6 balls.
- Put the pancake mix, butter and yoghurt in a bowl and knead until the dough is no longer sticky.
- If it sticks to your hands, add a little more pancake mix or flour.
- Add the cocoa powder to 1/4 of the dough from Step 2, and knead and mix.
- Roll the rest of the dough into 6 balls.
- *ind a flat surface and mix it using the palms of your hands.
- Divide the Step 3 cocoa dough into 24 individual balls.
- Wrap in plastic wrap to prevent drying out.
- Roll out the 6 pieces of plain dough using a rolling pin, and place a ball of anko in the centre of each.
- Lightly stretch the dough around the anko, gather it in the centre, and close firmly.
- Set the oven to 170C and place the 6 pandas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving space in between.
- Put 2 pieces of cocoa dough on for the ears, and another 2 for the nose.
- Press on hard so they stick.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- When cooled, draw on the eyes, and they're done.
- Enjoy them fresh from the oven.
