Savory Cheddar-Sour Cream Scones

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded cheese.
  5. Make well in center of flour mixture.
  6. Mix sour cream and milk.
  7. Add to flour mixture; stir with fork just until moistened.
  8. Spoon onto parchment-covered baking sheet; pat to 10-inch circle.
  9. Cut into 10 wedges.
  10. Gently separate wedges; brush with egg.
  11. Sprinkle with Parmesan and onions.
  12. Bake 10 to 12 min.
  13. or until golden brown.
  14. Serve warm.
