Sour Cream Fruitcake

  1. Combine shortening and sugar; cream together. Add eggs, sour cream, milk, salt, baking powder and flavorings. Mix well. Add 2 c. flour; blend well; dust the nuts with the remaining cup of flour; add to batter. Mix into batter. Pour into large, greased and floured tube pan or 3 loaf pans. Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
