Toasted Rice Flour

  1. Heat rice in a heavy skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Shake or stir the pan constantly to ensure even toasting.
  3. When the rice has turned golden brown, transfer to a spice grinder.
  4. Be careful, as rice will be extremely hot.
  5. Process toasted rice to a fine powder.
