Family Fave Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- 6 medium potatoes
- 3 tbsp heavy cream (35%)
- 4 tbsp butter or margarine
- 2 clove garlic minced
- 1 tbsp each chicken soup base, garlic powder and onion salt
- 1 tbsp parsley
- Peel and chop potatoes, put in medium-small pot, fill water to cover potatoes, bring to boil and cook on medium-high for an hour or until potatoes are soft
- Turn heat off, drain water from the potatoes, add all ingredients except the parsley and hand blend until desired consistency (we like it smooth with small chunks)
- Note: you can substitue the butter/garlic/parsley in this recipe for 4tbsp of pre-made garlic butter
- Stir in parsley, let sit for 5-10 mins and serve
