Hawaiian BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 pinches Salt/pepper
- 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Pineapple Slices In Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce
- 6 slices Bacon (cooked)
- 4 slices Cheese (American, Velveeta, Cheddar, Or Swiss)
- 4 Hamburger Buns
- Mold ground beef into four burger patties and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat your grill or stove to medium-high heat.
- Cook patties on the grill or in a skillet on the stove top until they have nearly reached your desired level of done-ness (cook time will vary based on patty thickness but this should take about 5-6 minutes per side).
- About halfway through, add your pineapple rings to the grill.
- Flip the pineapple once the bottom begins to char.
- Remove from heat to a clean plate.
- Brush each burger generously with BBQ sauce.
- Top with bacon slices, cheese and pineapple.
- Serve on a bun with some savory sides.
- (We chose grilled corn, zucchini, and baked potatoes!)
- You may also serve with additional BBQ sauce for dipping!
- For healthier alternatives try a veggie or turkey burger with turkey bacon- you may also omit the cheese.
