Buttermilk Whole Wheat Pancakes
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 3 -4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons honey (I love dark Buckwheat honey)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- In a mixing bowl, mix buttermilk and eggs.
- Add oil.
- Add honey using same spoon as oil, so honey will slide off spoon.
- In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, wheat germ, salt, soda.
- Add flour mixture to milk mixture.
- Blend well.
- Cook pancakes on medium heat on griddle.
- Cook longer on the first side so middle will cook thoroughly; look for bubbles to appear.
- Flip over.
- Finish cooking.
- Eat.
- Enjoy.
- Repeat.
