My Shepherd's Pie
- 2 lbs roast beef, Left over
- 1 large onion
- 2 packages bovril powder
- 12 cup water
- to taste mashed potatoes
- Grind the roast beef.
- Saute the onion and add Bovril, water, and
- beef.
- Cook for a short time.
- Put in a casserole.
- Top with mashed potatoes and put in 375 F oven for about 30 minutes.
- Brown under broiler.
- I must admit that I sometimes use a gravy mix instead of the Bovril and about 2 cups of gravy as a replacement is wonderful.
