Not Your Regular Turkey Sandwich
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 12 dried jalapeno pepper, chopped
- 12 teaspoon ground cumin
- 6 turkey slices
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 slices tomatoes
- 12 cucumber
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce
- Mix together the first 5 ingredients and set aside.
- Toast the bread.
- Peel and slice cucumber.
- Salt and pepper the sliced tomato and cucumber slices.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture on both slices of bread.
- Layer with cucumber, tomato, turkey and romaine.
- Top with remaining bread slice to make 2 sandwiches.
