Gooey Mixed Nut Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  2. Prepare a 11 x 7 inch dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, half cup margarine, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Mix until resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Press evenly mixture into prepared dish.
  6. Bake for 16 minutes, or until edges are light brown.
  7. Meanwhile, combine butterscotch chips, corn syrup, and margarine in a large saucepan.
  8. Cook over medium heat until chips are melted and smooth, stirring constantly.
  9. Remove heat.
  10. Fold in peanuts, walnut pieces, and pecans.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Spread onto baked layer.
  13. Bake bars for 12 minutes, or until edges are bubbly.
