Chicken Stuffed Peppers Recipe
- 6 med. sized green peppers
- 2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pkg. chicken gravy mix
- 1 c. whole kernel corn
- 2 c. diced cooked chicken
- Dash of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
- Paprika
- Cut tops from peppers, remove seeds and membranes and wash inside and out.
- Place peppers, one c. water and salt in saucepan; cover and cook about 8 min; drain well.
- Add in remaining c. water to sauce mix and bring to boiling; add in corn, chicken, pepper and poultry seasoning.
- Pile mix loosely into peppers; sprinkle with crumbs and paprika.
- Place in shall baking dish; add in water to cover bottom of dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 min.
- Serves 6.
