Black Raspberry Buckle

  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Mix half of the margarine and half of sugar.
  3. Then add in egg and vanilla.
  4. Combine 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt.
  5. Add mixes alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
  6. Starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  7. Pour into a greased 9 inches square baking dish with black raspberries.
  8. Combine remaining sugar, flour and nutmeg.
  9. Cut in remaining butter until the texture of cornmeal.
  10. Sprinkle over black raspberries.
  11. Bake 40-45 mins.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.
  13. Good served with vanilla ice cream.
