Round Steak and Mushroom Gravy
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Seasoning Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Red Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 6 pieces Tenderized Round Steak
- 1/2 cups Or More Of Frying Oil
- 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can Golden Mushroom Soup, 10 Ounce Can
- 1/2 cans Water
- 1/2 cans Milk
- Optional For Serving: Prepared Mashed Potatoes
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
- Mix the flour and seasonings together in a shallow bowl.
- Flour the round steak pieces on both sides.
- Place the steak into the hot oil and brown on both sides (youre going to cook it more, so you simply need to brown it).
- Place round steak pieces in a 9X13 inch glass baking dish.
- Mix the two cans of soup, water, and milk together and pour evenly over steak.
- Place aluminum foil over baking dish and bake for 1 hour or until pieces of steak are fully cooked in the middle.
- Meanwhile, whip up some mashed potatoes and serve the extra gravy over a serving of rich, creamy mashed potatoes.
