Marbled Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa (6 oz.)
- 1 c. vanilla chips
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz.)
- In large bowl, beat together sugars, butter and vanilla until creamy.
- Beat in eggs; combine flour, soda and salt.
- Gradually beat into butter mixture until well blended.
- Scoop 1/3 of dough into separate bowl. Mix in cocoa until well blended; stir in chocolate chips and stir vanilla chips into remaining white dough. Return chocolate dough to white dough, with wooden spoon and stir the two doughs just until marbled.
- Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 8 to 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
