Chicken Salad Casserole
- 3 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 1/4 c. Miracle Whip
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- ??? c. chopped celery
- 8 to 10 slices cube white bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Mix together top 5 ingredients.
- In the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish put a layer of bread cubes.
- Spread the chicken mix atop the layer of bread cubes, then top with 3 more slices of bread cubes.
- In a bowl, beat eggs with a fork, add milk; pour this mixture over casserole.
- Cover with Saran Wrap, refrigerate overnight.
- Next day, pour 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup on top.
- Bake 40 minutes at 325u0b0.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Return to oven approximately 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
