Miso Pesto Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to directions until tender, and drain.
  2. Toast nuts in a dry skillet until golden brown being careful not to burn.
  3. Grind in a blender and set aside.
  4. In blender, combine olive oil, garlic, miso and water; blend.
  5. Chop the basil fine, add to blender and process.
  6. Add nuts and blend until creamy and smooth.
  7. Pour pesto over hot pasta.
