Lemony Oven Spareribs

  1. Heat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. Arrange ribs in 13 1/2 x 3/4-inch baking dish.
  3. Roast ribs for 30 minutes; drain.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350u0b0.
  5. In a 1-quart saucepan, stir together ketchup, chili sauce, sugar, mustard and seasonings.
  6. Cover; simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Pour half ketchup mixture over ribs.
  8. Layer with half onion and lemon slices.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  10. Top with remaining sauce, onions and lemons. Cover with foil.
  11. Continue baking 30 minutes.
  12. Garnish with celery leaves, if desired.
  13. Makes 8 servings.
