Marinated Chicken Wings Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1/3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 c. lite soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 c. water
- Disjointed chicken wings (I use 3/4 pound wings per serving for main dish, less for appetizers)
- Mix marinade; pour over disjointed chicken wings.
- Let stand in marinade at least 3 hrs to overnight (overnight is best).
- Bake in shallow "roll" pan 1 hour at 350 degrees with the marinade poured over, then pour marinade off and bake 20 min longer to create a glaze.
- Or possibly, put chicken wings and marinade in an electric skillet at 325-350 degrees and cook with lid on 45 min; remove lid for 15 min.
- Electric skillet method makes a stickier, thicker glaze.
- Either method is very good!
