Sourdough Bread Starter

  1. In a nonstick (not metal) mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in starter, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, eggs and 3 cups of flour, continuing to stir in flour until soft dough is reached.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface until elastic (about 10 minutes).
  4. Form into a ball. Grease another nonstick (not metal) bowl.
  5. Brush top of dough with vegetable oil.
