Marinated Beef Kabobs
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 3/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. prepared mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 lb. sirloin tip, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 large green peppers, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushroom caps
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 12 small onions
- hot cooked rice (optional)
- Combine the first 6 ingredients; stir well.
- Add meat.
- Cover; marinate 12 hours in refrigerator, turning meat occasionally. Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade.
- Alternate meat and vegetables on skewers.
- Grill over medium coals 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness, basting with marinade.
- Serve with rice, if desired.
- Yields 12 servings.
