Veneeda's Southern Crock Pot Beans

  1. Place the ham fat on the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Then put the beans on top (if using fresh, don't forget to string and snap them).
  3. Add the red pepper and enough water to cover the beans.
  4. Cook on high overnight (about 8 hours).
  5. If needed add salt to taste.
