Brie And Bacon Omelet Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Minced green onion
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 3/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 ounce Minced brie, skin removed
- 4 slc Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. Minced toasted pecans Fresh fruit if you like
- Heat butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet or possibly omelet pan, tilting pan to coat bottom and sides.
- Saute/fry onion till tender, about 3 min.
- Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk and pepper.
- Increase heat to medium to high.
- Pour egg mix into skillet.
- Stir once nad cook till edges begin to set.
- using a fork, gently pull the edges of the Large eggs away from the sides of the pan so which the uncooked portion flows under the cooked edges.
- Continue till most of the egg mix is set but the surface of the omelet is slightly wet.
- Sprinkle cheese, bacon and nuts over the top of the omelet.
- Mix in half; cut into two pcs.
- Garnish with fresh fruit.
- Serve immediately.
