Broccoli Casserole
- 3 pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 bunch green onions, chopped (including tops)
- 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) roll garlic cheese, cut up or 2 (4 oz.) containers Alloutte garlic and herbs cream cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
- Cook broccoli according to directions.
- Drain.
- Melt butter, saute onions and celery until tender.
- Add flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Blend in soup.
- Add broccoli and mushrooms.
- Bake in greased casserole, covered, at 350u0b0 for about 30 minutes or freeze and bake at 375u0b0 for about 1 hour.
- Serves 8 to 10.
- This can also be used as a dip.
