Shepherd'S Pie
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 packet Herb-Ox beef bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water (cornstarch mixed with water to thicken)
- 6 large red potatoes
- 1 pat butter and milk
- 1 can corn
- Brown ground beef in pan.
- Drain off fat. Add onions, bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in water.
- Bring to a boil and add cornstarch mixture to thicken.
- Cover and let meat simmer for 20 minutes. Peel and cook potatoes.
- Remove from heat. Drain water and add salt, pepper, butter and milk.
- Mash potatoes.
- In large casserole dish, layer meat mixture on bottom, place corn over meat layer and top everything with mashed potatoes.
- Cover pie and place in oven at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Works great made ahead of time for coming in late from a hockey game!
