Bellflower Root Salad (Toraji Namul) Recipe

  1. In a bowl, soak the roots in water overnight, rinse, and squeeze dry.
  2. Tear the roots into long, thin strips, using a paring knife.
  3. Rub 1 Tbsp.
  4. salt into the roots using your hands to remove the bitterness of the roots.
  5. Rinse with water and squeeze out excess water.
  6. In a bowl, combine the roots with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Mix well.
  8. This recipe yields about 1 1/2 c..
  9. Yield: 1 1/2 c.
