Food Works Classic Oil and Balsamic Dressing on Greens, Feta, an
- 2 apples, sliced thin, CORES REMOVED
- 1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces or 6 cups mixed spring greens
- 3 mushrooms, sliced thin (optional)
- 14 red onion, sliced thin (optional)
- 12 cucumber, sliced into coins (optional)
- 12 cup roasted salted sunflower seeds or 12 cup walnuts or 12 cup pecans
- 12 cup feta cheese or 12 cup goat cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Slice up all vegetables and tear lettuce into small pieces.
- Toss together in a large bowl.
- Top with nuts and cheese.
- In a small cup, mix the oil and vinegar.
- Dress the salad JUST before serving by adding 1/2 of the dressing, mixing well, tasting, and adding more if needed.
