Pasta with Fresh Herbs and Garlic
- 1 pinch Salt For The Pasta Water
- 8 ounces, weight Dry Pasta Of Your Choice
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary, Finely Chopped
- 3 sprigs Fresh Thyme, Finely Chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, Finely Chopped
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 pinch Parmesan Per Serving
- Bring a pot of water to boil.
- Salt the water so it tastes like sea water.
- Add the pasta and cook til al dente.
- Drain, pour in a serving bowl, and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saute pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped herbs and cook for one minute.
- Add the garlic and cook for one minute more.
- Pour the butter/herb mixture over the pasta and toss.
- Give it a taste test.
- Season with salt and pepper as necessary.
- Garnish with a sprinkling of parmesan.
