Sheree's Spring Rolls
- 1/2 lb ground pork (can use any ground meat)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 * can add shredded carrots, and take out meat, if you want a totally veggie egg roll
- 4 cup shreddeed cabbage (I use coleslaw mix)
- 1/2 medium onions
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 packages egg roll wrappers or spring roll wrappers.. wont need all of them
- fry meat and drain off grease.
- add all other ingredients except egg roll wrappers.
- cook until veggies are limp.. drain and put in colander to drain for at several hours.
- take egg roll wrapper and put 1T or so of mix close to the edge.
- follow wrapping instructions on package.
- moisten edge with water.. finish rolling it.
- fry in oil, turning to brown all sides.
- I use my deep fryer.
