Barbecue Sauce Recipe
- 1 med. onion
- 1 celery stick with leaves
- 1/2 lemon, sliced thin
- 3/4 c. sweet pickle juice
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 28 ounce. ketchup
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- 1/2 c. wine
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Some Tabasco sauce
- 2 teaspoon horseradish
- Garlic salt to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place onion, celery, and lemon, pickle juice in blender and liquefy.
- Saute/fry blender mix in melted butter in a large saucepan about 20 min.
- Add in rest of ingredients and simmer about 30 min.
- Use as a barbecue sauce or possibly serve warm with shrimp.
