Italian Grilled Cheese

  1. Spread 1 side of each bread slice with about 2 teaspoons butter.
  2. Layer 1 slice bread, buttered-side down, with 1 slice cheese, 3 to 4 basil leaves, 1/4 salami, 1/4 roasted red pepper strips, 1/4 banana pepper rings and 1 slice cheese.
  3. Top with 1 slice bread, buttered-side up.
  4. Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Place 2 sandwiches into skillet; cook, turning once, 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
